By accessing or using the MyDebtFlip™ application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maseba's, a registered business in the State of Texas, United States, operating MyDebtFlip™ as one of its digital products.
MyDebtFlip™ is one of several digital applications and services operated by Maseba's. Each product operated by Maseba's is governed by its own separate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your use of MyDebtFlip is governed exclusively by these Terms. These Terms do not apply to any other Maseba's product, and the terms of any other Maseba's product do not apply to MyDebtFlip.
Maseba's reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any product in its portfolio at any time. Changes to one product do not affect the terms or operation of other products.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, are not located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo or sanctions, and will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information, maintain the security and confidentiality of your password, accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, and notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Free Plan: MyDebtFlip offers a free tier with access to basic budgeting and expense tracking features at no cost, with no time limit.
Pro Plan: The MyDebtFlip Pro plan is a paid subscription providing access to all features including the AI Coach, loan calculator, health score, net worth tracker, and debt planner. Pro is billed monthly at $7.99/month or annually at $59.99/year.
Free trial: We may offer a free trial period for Pro. At the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial expires.
Billing: All MyDebtFlip subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of Maseba's. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize Maseba's to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through Stripe. Your payment information is stored and secured by Stripe, not by Maseba's directly. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
Statement descriptor: Subscription charges for MyDebtFlip will appear on your bank or card statement as MASEBAS or MASEBAS*MYDEBTFLIP depending on your card issuer.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods, and you will retain access to Pro features until your paid period ends.
Refund policy: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you are unsatisfied with the Service. After 7 days, no refunds are issued for partial billing periods. To request a refund, contact [email protected] within the refund window. See our full Refund Policy for details.
You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation, infringe the intellectual property rights of others, transmit any harmful or illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure, reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service, use automated tools or bots to access the Service, resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission, or impersonate any person or entity.
You retain all ownership rights to the financial data and content you enter into MyDebtFlip. By using the Service, you grant Maseba's a limited, non-exclusive license to use your data solely to provide and improve the MyDebtFlip Service. Your data is not shared with or used by any other Maseba's product without your explicit consent. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
The AI Coach's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You agree that Maseba's is not liable for any financial decisions you make based on AI Coach responses.
The MyDebtFlip Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Maseba's. The MyDebtFlip™ name and mark are trademarks of Maseba's. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without permission.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Vercel (hosting), and others. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Maseba's is not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASEBA'S AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE MYDEBTFLIP SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MASEBA'S FOR MYDEBTFLIP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maseba's and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the MyDebtFlip Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the MyDebtFlip Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas. Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
